New Year, New You - New Resolutions, New Goals, New Ideas: 2017 is going to be a good year! A few of our favorite resolutions to live your best life possible...
1. Eat Better.... But you don't have to be perfect. One tip, try to fuel your body with some healthy juices and habits during the weekdays, but don't skip on brunch with your friends on the weekend. 'Cause close friends and yummy food are good for the soul.
2. Cleanse Your Closet.... If you don't feel good in it, it doesn't fit or has a snag, let it go! Freeing up space in your wardrobe makes it easier to create new outfits and gives you a sense of what you actually enjoy wearing (which in turn makes you a stronger, smarter shopper)!
3. Surround Yourself with Fresh Flowers.... An instant pick-me-up fresh flowers or plants bring a little joy and life to your surroundings. Enjoy the little things!
4. Exercise to Feel Good.... Try new trends (CrossFit, Hot Yoga and Pure Barre are some of the latest that have people falling in love with their workout regimes), join a tennis league or get a workout buddy to go walking on the beach. If you find something you enjoy, you will be much more motivated to do it regularly! Don't concentrate on the scale but how it makes you feel! Carving out the time for yourself can be tough, but the endorphins will be worth it!
5. Make New Year Resolutions Attainable.... Even if some of your goals don't seem reachable for 2017, take baby steps towards them! A step in the direction is still one step closer than you were before you started. Some goals take time for all the pieces to fall into place, try to just enjoy the process one day at a time. And don't be too hard on yourself!
